Kajon House is situated in the undulating countryside of Clonmacnoise, County Offaly, right in the heart of Ireland. The attractive red brick house is situated in a peaceful area overlooking the River Shannon, and surrounded by 1.25 acres of beautiful mature gardens. A warm welcome awaits you at this friendly, family home, and you will even be offered tea and scones on arrival.
The property has a total of seven guestrooms. Rooms include a single room not ensuite, a double room not ensuite, two twin rooms ensuite, one triple room ensuite and two ensuite rooms with a double and single bed.
The B&B welcomes children, and so it offers children's meals and a
babysitting service. You can also enjoy an evening meal or have
something to eat from the snack menu.
When you stay at Kajon House you are close to the monastic ruins
of Clonmacnoise, one of the premier historic and archaeological sites
in the country. It has some of Ireland's finest displays of high
crosses, as well as a round tower, a church, a castle and several
temples. Kajon House is an excellent base for touring and other
attractions to look out for on your travels include Birr Castle,
Donaghmore Museum and Dunmore Caves. There are also opportunities for
you to enjoy activities like horse riding, golfing, fishing and
cruising the River Shannon.
